Scholarship

As an educational Institution, it will be our constant endeavour to support deserving students in their academic pursuits. To further this cause, we will be introducing "Scholarship Schemes" for meritorious students wishing to pursue their PGDM with us.

The following scholarship schemes will be available:

Merit scholarships

The Scholarship Committee will review applications from the top five students of various Departments of Under-Graduate Programs and eligible candidates will be called for an interview. Based on the recommendations of the Scholarship Committee, students can get waiver on Tuition Fees up to 25%.

Merit-cum-mean Scholarships

Candidates who have a consistently brilliant academic record and qualify for selection for the course and whose parents are not well off financially will be called for an interview with the Scholarship Committee. Based on the recommendations of the Scholarship Committee, students can get waiver on Tuition Fees up to 50%.

Programs Offered

Chennai School of Business Excellence will offer two-year full-time AICTE-approved Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with functional and industry electives. The Program is expected to commence on 31st July 2013.

During the first year, we will provide the foundation on which the students will build their expertise in their chosen areas of specialization.

During the second year, we will have three functional electives.

• Finance
• Human Resources
• Marketing

Course details

Chennai School of Business Excellence offers two-year full-time AICTE-approved Post-Graduate Diploma in Management with functional and industry electives.

• During the First year, we will be offering the General Management Courses like Financial Accounting, Organizational Behaviour, Quantitative Analysis to name a few

• During the second year, we will offer three functional electives (Finance, Human Resources and Marketing) together with Industry electives (Retail, International Business, Banking and Financial Services and Manufacturing). The course end with a PGDM internship of around 3 months. 

How to Apply

 

The interested candidates will be given an option to either request for an admission form to be mailed to them using the Institution’s web site or collect the form from the Admission Officer at the campus or from the Trust Office. 

What is the course fee for 2yrs?

 

The course fee per year will be Rs. 3.25 lakhs.

The fee payment schedule for the 2-year PGDM will be as follows:

    Rs. 50,000 within 10 days of receiving the formal letter of admission
    Rs. 1.5 lakhs on or before July 31, 2013
    Rs. 1.25 lakhs on or before November 1, 2013, and
    Rs. 3.25 lakhs(for the second year) on or before July 1, 2014

CBS Trust was formed in the year 2007 by professionals with several years of industry experience at senior management levels in large and reputed organizations. 3-tier management

Chennai School of Business Excellence will have 3-Tier management system consisting of :

Advisory Board : comprising a large number of senior management professionals, who provide guidance at the strategic level. 

Governing Council : who will manage the quality of offering and ensure that our commitments to all stakeholders are met. 

Advisory Council : for each functional and industry elective which ensures that the curriculum is current and relevant to industry requirements. The members of these councils are functional specialists working in industry.

Such a robust structure will ensure at all times that we are industry-focused and we supply “industry-ready professionals”.
